Orion Community Impact 

At Orion Little Stars, we are committed to making a lasting difference in the lives of children, families, and communities. As part of the Orion Community Impact Foundation, our work goes beyond early education, it forms the foundation of a long term vision to break cycles of disadvantage and ensure that every child has the opportunity to thrive. We believe that access to high quality early years education is one of the most powerful tools for creating lasting change, particularly for children from under resourced backgrounds.

Our role within the wider Orion mission is to provide a nurturing, inclusive, and inspiring environment where children can develop the confidence, skills, and curiosity they need to succeed in life. Our impact doesn't stop at the classroom door. Through strong relationships with families and collaboration with community organisations, we work to ensure that children are supported at every stage, emotionally, socially, and academically.

We understand that lasting change happens when families are empowered, communities are engaged, and systems evolve. That’s why we support parents and carers with practical tools to foster learning at home, help strengthen local networks through community hubs, and design programmes that reflect the strengths and aspirations of those we serve.

As part of the Orion Community Impact Foundation’s strategic plan for 2025–2030, Orion Little Stars plays a vital role in ensuring educational excellence starts early and continues through every stage of a child’s journey. We contribute to key priorities such as delivering transformative educational programmes, supporting children with additional needs, and embedding creativity, resilience, and wellbeing into everyday learning. We also collaborate with local schools, research partners, and policymakers to help shape a more equitable education system for all.

The next five years represent a critical opportunity for the Orion Community Impact Foundation to make a significant and lasting difference to the lives of under resourced children. With the guidance of our trustees and the support of our partners, we will work tirelessly to ensure that education opens doors to brighter futures for every child we serve.

Our vision is a world where no child’s potential is limited by poverty or circumstance. Through our daily work, long term commitment, and community first approach, Orion Little Stars is helping to turn that vision into reality, one child, one family, and one community at a time.
