Settling In Process

At Orion Little Stars, we understand how important a smooth and supportive settling-in process is for both children and their families. To help your child feel comfortable and confident in their new environment, we recommend three consecutive settling-in sessions where possible.

The first session (9:00–11:00) is attended with a parent or carer, allowing time to complete paperwork and begin building warm, secure relationships between your child, their key person, and the wider team.

The second session (9:00–11:30) involves a brief handover before the parent or carer leaves, helping your child begin to explore independence with guided support.

For the third session (9:00–1:00), we encourage a typical drop-off routine, giving your child the opportunity to stay for lunch and establish a sense of belonging in our nurturing setting.
